Dave learned surface supply air diving to HSE Pt III in 1996.
Dave trained as a commercial SCUBA diver to HSE Pt IV in 1986.
Initially he worked on the MV Archimedes which salvaged the First World War ship "Lusitania". This inspired Dave to learn to dive.
Dave has filmed underwater around the world including the wreck of USS Arizona in Pearl Harbour, Truc Lagoon, The Submarine escape tank in Portsmouth and many other diverse locations.

He helped with a small group of media divers to create the current HSE regulations for media diving and has recently been involved in a survey with the National Hyperbaric Centre in Aberdeen.
